Improve the level of English

To improve the level of English among secondary school students from Norway, I think we have to use the English language more than we do today. We have to have discussions, oral presentations and only talk English in the English lessons.



When we have homework here at my school, we have to read, and than do tasks to the text. I think it is important to write as well, but not all the time. My opinion is that we have to use the oral English more than the written English, because it’s more important to understand each other, than to understand what’s written.

The best way to learn to speak English is to use the language all the time. If it is a word you can’t remember, just try to explain it in English with some other words. If you do, you’ll be showing that you could use other words to explaining the word, and that you have a big vocabulary, and that’s good!
